I would be all for running straight DODC rules. As I stated before it would make it easier for someone to reenter the sport with older cars. If you are worried DD are faster than a gearbox check out the big races that have been run the last few months and gearbox cars have won 13.5, 17.5, and open classes. And that is on high bite indoor clay tracks. People could run the same bodies that they use elsewhere. People would be more willing to travel and race somewhere when they do not have to change their cars, chassis, or bodies. Run everything DODC and keep your tire rule of street track tires. DODC states that a tire rule can be implemented. I think the 13.5 classes would grow with DODC rules in place. I think alot more racers from back in the day may start racing again. Its all about growing the sport and expanding it, rather than prohibiting people from racing. You have a premiere facility, capitalize on it. Bring in people from other states. Make them want to come race at your place.
